Job Position is for a Director of Customer Insights & Analytics in the Philadelphia, PA area.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading the market research, analytics, and strategic consulting functions; for developing, in cooperation with account management, new offerings and business-expansion opportunities within these domains; and for representing the company?s point of view and approach within these domains to clients, media, and other external constituencies.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree plus 7 to 10 years of previous relevant experience; MBA plus 2 to 4 years experience strongly preferred
* Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry marketing, technologies, and e-marketing applications; strong ability to apply logic and analytics to assess and derive real business value and logically develop an approach to client marketing
* Must have understanding of principles of customer segmentation analysis, including familiarity with leading industry data sources such as IMS, Verispan, Nielsen//NetRatings, et al.
* Understanding of website performance and online behavior metrics, including frequency and duration of visits, entry/exit, navigation pathways, dropoffs, key view and click-based conversions, and predictive modeling, along with measures of brand awareness, favorability, message association, etc
* Must be able to design and implement market research engagements to provide customer insights for formation of marketing strategies and tactics
* Ability to design and implement complex strategic consulting engagements that engage key stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations
* Familiarity with segmentation strategies that will improve the performance of our clients' online initiatives
* Ability to integrate online persona/scenario-design insights into a rigorous analytics approach
* Ability to combine media metrics and business data to analyze the relative efficiency of various digital and offline channels for client campaign optimization
* Background in client relations, engagement management, and interactive media
* Experience in or familiarity with the creative design process, technology development methodologies, building of Web sites, and information delivery systems
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Designs and directs research and consulting engagements to provide maximal insight to our global pharmaceutical clients for formation of marketing and media strategies and tactics
* Develops and implements analytic and metric methodologies to ensure maximal accountability for all engagements
* Prepares and presents metrics-based business cases to support the value proposition of company?s recommendations in business-development pursuits
* Develops cross-sell and upsell strategies to improve economics of retaining high-value in-line clients
* Develops marketing and selling support, sells CI&A capabilities internally as well as to clients
* Builds best-in-class and proprietary reporting formats, ROI/value analysis approaches, and strategic partnerships with leading online data and analytics vendors
* Leads and mentors staff of consultants, analysts, and research associates, with responsibility for their professional development, allocation to projects, and QA of their work
* Make recommendations that improve the performance of our clients' online initiatives by targeting the most productive customer segments online
* Develop behavior-based segmenatation models to sort client site visitors by value
* Design and conduct online and offline market research to assist with the development of digital marketing and media plans
* Analysis of site behaviors, including predictive models
* Incorporates online persona/segmentation strategies into a rigorous analytics approach
* Summarizes and presents cogent view of online performance across a range of interconnected web (and offline) campaign initiatives
* Reports on relative efficiency of various digital and offline channels for client campaign imperatives
* Produces and disseminates POVs on customer value analysis and online behaviors for press and speaking engagements; Represents thought leadership in public forums, including speaking engagements, seminars, bylined articles, association activities, trade shows, etc.
* Responsible for delivery of customer insight, market research, and strategy offering as well as leadership in the development of new service offerings
* Improves CIA asset management for easier access and maintenance, and greater integration with Business Development Assets
