Director of Direct Marketing

Direct the development and implementation direct marketing strategies to optimize investment and maximize total Company sales. Lead a team to grow Eddie Bauer customer file through increasing customer retention, customer acquisition and increasing customer value utilizing and testing direct-marketing initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Direct the development and implementation of direct media contact strategies for all existing customers in Retail and Direct.
Direct the development of high level multi-channel circulation plans.
Provide objectives, goals and guidance to the associates responsible for the creation of circulation plans, P&L?s and housefile promotional strategies for Catalog, Email and Retail media.
Manage media plans
Direct contact strategies and tactical plans for all new customer acquisition for catalog, internet and retail businesses
Develop plans for new customer growth
Develop long range plans and growth strategies for NCA department based on customer value and meeting growth targets
Oversee strategy for the list rental policies
Assist the Vice-President of Direct Marketing in long range planning.
Communicate key points and strategy to internal partners.
Direct the file forecasting and weekly demand forecasting for the Direct business.
Oversee the selection and segmentation of names for all catalog mailing.
Manage the implementation of marketing strategies with internal departments and external vendors.
Train and develop direct reports to perform day-to-day and strategic functions.


EDUCATION / REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required and MBA preferred
7-10 years Direct Marketing experience, preferably in a Multi-Channel environment including experience with: strategy development, segmentation, promotions, project planning, execution and analysis
3-5 years catalog marketing experience
Experience with email marketing planning, execution and analysis
