Director of Major Gifts (Advancement/Development Officer 3)

Identifies major donors for cultivation by following the Directors master plan of funding priorities for the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Oversees strategic planning, development, and implementation of Miami/Buoniconti Major Gifts campaign. Manage appropriate database for major gifts of $100,000 or more. Establishes a plan for regular contact of new prospective donors worldwide. Assists with appropriate recognition of Major Gifts Donors. Works with established Development Team on the yearly departmental fundraising plan and strategies. Will represent the Miami Project/Buoniconti fundraising efforts at various events.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant work related experience. Must be able to travel nationally and internationally to reach new prospective Major Donors. Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, or certifications will be considered.
