AQUENT, the world's largest marketing and creative service staffing firm, is seeking a senior marketing communications professional for a direct hire opportunity with a Fortune 200 company in Richmond, VA.

This candidate will serve as the lead communicator for the Information Technology (IT) division, responsible for leading communication strategy development and managing a small team to facilitate implementation and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Assess, create and develop communication strategies that help drive change communications efforts for the IT associates; dedication to quality and innovative thinking
? Identify opportunities for senior management to communicate with internal audiences and influence participation directly through various meeting venues and indirectly using various channels
? Develop an integrated communications function to proactively seek out and identify opportunities to support the company and to drive associate satisfaction and productivity
? Develop and implement appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of communications strategies and initiatives, including associate feedback to allow continuous improvement of the actual communications and the messages as well as to take the ?pulse? of the associates for leadership
? Manage and develop senior communication managers and contract staff in developing and implementing communication plans for senior leaders
? Direct and maintain a diverse set of communication channels that facilitate messaging at both the division and enterprise levels
? Serve as the main interface between IT, inter-division communicators and various corporate communication contacts within the organization
? Organize and help facilitate external conferences and media opportunities for IT leaders with support from the media relations team
? Manage and track financials as it relates to contract staff, vendor support and operational concerns for the communications services
? Ability to identify, build and maintain effective relationships with senior levels of management and other key stakeholders
? Proven ability to develop and execute results-driven communications strategies that are aligned with business goals and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS
? Communications or business-related degree; Masters preferred
? 10+ years senior leadership consulting and coaching expertise
? Excellent and demonstrated oral and written communication skills
? Strong people management skills with a proven ability to help associates develop and contribute to their full potential
? Ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment
? Technical knowledge or experience a plus
