The Position

The Director of Public Relations has primary responsibility for all aspects of public relations and will represent Resources to local and national media. This position will also be responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of public relations campaigns with a consistent and positive approach. Responsibilities

- Lead Resources? public relations initiative, direct media relations and overall messaging and strategy, and manage the communication of relevant information to media, clients, corporate staff, and other audiences.
- Develop and direct the planning and coordination of a comprehensive and diversified public relations program that will project a unified message about the company while also integrating the individual strategies of the business service lines and addressing corporate growth plans.
- Work closely with marketing team to maintain a consistent and positive interaction with industry analysts, press, and media publications.
- Interact regularly with the company's management and business partners to maintain a current understanding of Resources and the business service lines, upcoming initiatives, and communications requirements and opportunities.
- Prepare and manage all promotional and informational items for publication and circulation in the mass media in the form of press releases, media advisories, feature articles, Q&A?s, video news releases, press conferences, events, and all other company public relations communications (internal and external).
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all public relations practices, technologies and resources.
- Provide fresh ideas and creative thinking to leverage public relations efforts and the overall business.

Professional Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- Ten (10) years of public relations experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- 4-year bachelor degree in a relevant field (such as communications, marketing, journalism, public relations).
- Excellent written, oral, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- MBA a plus.
- A professional network with industry analysts, editors, journalists and other media a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of positive change in all positions held.
- Knowledge of financial services industry a plus.

Reporting

The Director of Public Relations reports to the EVP/COO located in Costa Mesa, California.

Compensation

Resources Global Professionals offers an attractive compensation and benefits package that includes: competitive base salary, medical/dental, bonus incentive plan, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, and stock options. The long-term success of this individual will only be limited by his/her performance. For this position, we do not offer relocation assistance.
