To help further QVC, Inc.'s success as an e-commerce leader, we are in search of a results-oriented, hands-on, self-motivated Editor for QVC's Information Services division. Working under the general direction of the Managing Editor, the Editor manages and casts a positive leadership shadow to a team of Copywriters who perform various writing, editing and process tasks associated with the launch of promotional content and/or product descriptions for QVC and QVC.com product lines.

The Editor partners with fellow Editors to provide creative, consistent text in a timely, efficient manner. The Editor ensures the creativity, quality, accuracy and consistency of product copy by editing work created by the writing team. The Editor also creates compelling sell copy and continually develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the wide range of product lines offered by QVC.


Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications or Business required.
- Minimum 3 years editing and writing experience in a business environment, preferrably in a marketing-related position.
- Experience managing, coaching and developing a team of writers.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with confident command of spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to compose compelling and persuasive sales copy.
- Must exercise good judgment in problem-solving.
- Excellent PC skills and the ability to comprehend complicated systems and work in a highly technical environment.
- Ability to adapt to constant change and a high pace.
- Excellent time management abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
