Electronic Marketing and Database Manger
Humana Press, an established Scientific and Medical Publisher, is seeking an organized and dependable individual to create and implement all e-mail marketing initiatives in coordination with Marketing & Sales Department initiatives and objectives, as well as maintain and further develop our Filemaker Pro database and website.
Responsibilities include:
-Create and execute direct email marketing campaigns for books, journals, e-product and scientific/medical conferences.
-Filemaker Pro Database development, maintenance, and design for departmental marketing initiatives.
-Work with outside vendor to develop the functionality and design of the Humana Presss website
-Update on-line catalog and company website using Filemaker Pro
-Deliver monthly ONIX data and cover jacket images to wholesalers and booksellers
-Work with members of the Marketing Department on initiatives such as web sales, web advertising, conference and direct mail promotions
Requirements:
B.A. / B.S. degree.
Candidates should have 1-2 yrs experience in above related activities. Required technical skills include Filemaker Pro, HTML, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, MS Office, and proficiency in Mac OS X.
