Email Marketing Manager

eBrains is a privately owned company established in 1999 to focus on developing and implementing online marketing communication programs to acquire and retain brand loyal customers for our clients.  We are a virtual company made up of talented marketing executives across all time zones.  We are looking to add talent to provide smart, fast and fun thinking to our team.

 

The Email Brain is responsible for assisting the client service team with the day to day aspects of our client?s email marketing campaigns.  This person will work closely with the Chief Operating Brain as well as the internal service team and our clients.  We're looking for a candidate who will provide excellent service to our clients and understand the sense of urgency, importance of ideas and attention to detail required for successful email marketing campaigns.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

? Provide team leadership with strategies and solutions for company?s 30+ clients? email marketing programs.

? Evolve company?s email marketing practices from current best practices to the next level.  This may include evolving sophisticated testing grids, comprehensive post-campaign analysis, use of dynamic content rotation based on consumer profiles and assisting clients who need database management/consultation.

? Participate and provide email/database strategy and ideas for new business proposals and presentations.

? Provide email reporting, analysis & ideas to team ? review/train account service prepared reports and provide ideas and recommendations for testing strategies based on learnings; train account service team to obtain results and craft analytical commentary; and provide evolution of company?s stats reporting.

? Provide creative counsel and thinking to account teams to review, critique and improve creative to elevate results.

? Research and maintain up to date knowledge and responsibility of company?s best practices with regards to email permission practices, CAN SPAM, as well as other email marketing opportunities.

? Responsible for staying ahead of the curve on spam issues, trends and solutions on evolving strategies to handle the ever-changing spam filter issues and its impact on deliverability.

? Develop, maintain and troubleshoot email technology issues with email deployment partner

? Provide leadership, as needed, on selecting new email deployment partners, and negotiating/communicating with current partners.


Skills & Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of agency and/or online/email/media marketing experience

? Superior multi-tasking skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

? Strong project management skills including attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills

? Proactive by nature and willingness to troubleshoot in real time

? Must be technically savvy and proficient with Internet technologies

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Experience and desire to work hard in a fast-paced, virtual team environment

? Strong background in online direct marketing, including but not limited to, email test grid setup, reporting, and managing multiple deployments (from agency-side).  Tourism/hospitality services and/or entertainment industries will be considered a plus.
