Entertainment Marketing/PR Manager

Felt Boston, an upscale restaurant/lounge/nightclub seeks an experienced marketing professional with 3-5 years with full marketing/pr managerial responsibility in a high volume environment. This venue maintains a high sales volume year around, thus, the ideal candidate will have been accustomed to working in a fast paced operational exposure. Organizational skills, hands-on management style, and the desire to be successful are a plus. An eye for the day-to-day operations, while focusing on the ?big picture? is a must. Experience in Entertainment PR/Marketing is preferred.

 

Responsibilities include:

 



Job Description: To provide marketing, promotion and publicity to venue.

 

Basic Duties (not limited to the following:)

 Coordinating and producing all marketing materials, brochures, postcards, menus, flyers.Creating and updating a press kit with photos & articles, reviews and menus.Placing advertising.Updating radio ads.Booking radio promotions.Creating advertisements, working with graphic designers.Maintaining an updated & current website.Procuring new business through promotional marketing campaigns.Mailings.Weekly email blasts.Planning monthly promotional events (i.e. anniversary party, club events, special dj?s, concerts, beach parties, Halloween, NYE, Holiday Bash, etc.)Booking liquor promotions.Working with liquor/wine companies for product and promotional money.Seeking out new business and repeat business.Pitching events and celebrity appearances to media for press.Writing press releases (celebrity appearances, special events?etc.)Contacting in-town celebrities to invite to FELT.Maintaining a good relationship with media/gossip columnists.Assisting with any visual displays that may assist marketing (window displays/window menus/logos?etc)Updating and maintaining listings in all publications/calendars.Maintaining amply supply of letterhead, stationary, business cards, all paper products with logo.Attending meetings or events when necessary.


Requirements:

?  Skilled in analysis presentation, documentation, and quality assurance

?  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

?  Organized with great time management skills with attention to detail

?  Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

?  High level of enthusiasm and motivation

?  Ability to think strategically while staying focused on the details of day-to-day responsibilities.

?  3-5 years of Marketing/PR experience (Entertainment PR/Marketing a plus)

?  Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point

?  Must work weekends and Events when needed

?  Must be able to lift 40 lbs

?  College degree in Marketing/PR or related field
