Event/Trade Show Coordinator

Summary:
Responsible for coordinating industry events and trade shows by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

- Assists Corporate Communications staff with all aspects of planning a meeting or special event for an organization.

- Assists with the creation and implementation of comprehensive exhibit plans that are driven by market needs, support business needs and objectives and are aligned with customers' and sales requirements.

- Plans and executes marketing events, such as trade shows and customer related events.

- Coordinates logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations.

- Procures and coordinates vendor services.

- Ensures exhibit/event strategies are aligned with Marketing, Sales and organizational objectives.

- Coordinates facility, exhibit set-up, equipment and catering requirements.

- Fosters strong relationships with key customers, both internal and external, as well as exhibit and third party associations to ensure executional excellence.

- Maintains knowledge of meeting, event and tradeshow industry trends and best in class practices as related to responsibilities.

- Provides on-site event support.

- May research potential event locations and evaluate alternatives.

- Other duties that are within education and experience or the incumbent may be assigned for the betterment of the company.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum Associate?s Degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school; and/or minimum 2+ years related experience. Experience coordinating trade shows or other major corporate events required.
