Executive Assistant, IMG Corporate Communications and Public Relations

We are seeking an Executive Assistant reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Relations.  The executive assistant position for corporate communications is a critical link between IMG communications professionals and their key constituencies, including reporters and editors; PR and Ad agencies; company owners, executives and employees; community leaders and all others looking for information about the company on a global basis. 

The appropriate candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment and must demonstrate a high level of energy, discretion, flexibility and good judgment.  Excellent people skills and organizational skills a must.

In addition to the general office administration tasks, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Screen incoming calls, route for prompt handling.  Ensure reporters get a response prior to deadline.
- Maintain library of corporate materials (brand guidelines, video, power point presentations, boiler plate, executive bios and photos).  Screen requests for this information and provide current copies, as appropriate.
- Assist with distributing press releases, media clippings, updating web site.
- Send out internal communications company-wide
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Coordinate and manage executive travel schedule
- Complete expense reports

High proficiency with MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Internet research required.  We desire a candidate with a typing speed of 50+ WPM and 5-10 years of executive assistant experience.  Must possess strong written and oral communications skills.  Experience dealing with reporters/PR a plus.
