Job Description
B/R/C Marketing has an immediate opening in Dayton, Ohio for an experienced Executive Creative Director with a diverse background in business-to-business marketing and advertising? emphasis must be on interactive, direct mail, publication advertising, collateral material and the Internet. This key member of the marketing team will manage B/R/C Marketing?s creative services to provide clients with work that achieves highly effective results. This candidate will be a proven performer with considerable expertise in developing creative concepts, writing compelling copy, and managing individuals. This position demands a high degree of creative freedom, as well as, the demonstrated ability to work under pressure, create award-winning work, make decisive and responsible decisions, and ability to lead teams. Key responsibilities will include:
Conception and creation of award winning work that also produces exceptional marketplace results
Learning client strategies, products and services to create results oriented creative
Leading a diverse creative team of individuals to achieve highly effective results
Developing team members and making sure team stays abreast of current trends and technologies
Effectively coordinating and collaborating with internal and external resources (i.e. production, vendors, clients) to provide desired results
Developing and scheduling concept, creative and copy workflow
Managing complete projects through art department, guiding creative input with designers, writers, account managers, and clients
Establishing creative department goals to ensure successful project completion and optimal department efficiency
Managing productivity and profitability of creative department
Evaluating client reactions to interactive, advertising and direct marketing programs to?if necessary--ensure timely adjustment of department strategy to meet changing client and competitive conditions
Qualifications
15+ years in proven business-to-business advertising and/or interactive and direct marketing agency experience
Thorough understanding of B2B direct marketing strategy (i.e. offers, list selection, list size, etc.) with specific expertise in developing successful direct marketing campaigns
In depth understanding of interactive and electronic media as it relates to web seminars, email, websites, flash videos, etc.
Knowledgeable and practicing proven trends in integrating communications from the web, print & gorilla marketing mediums
At least 10 years of agency experience managing projects and providing guidance to creative teams
At least 5 years experience managing direct reports while achieving highly effective creative and program results
Proven ability and comfortable with providing constructive feedback to creative department personnel and mentoring creative team
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage projects to completion--on time and within budget--under tight deadlines
A strong self starter with unprecedented motivation, work ethic and integrity
BA, BS or MBA a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with others, including peers, management, clients, subordinates, customers, outside contractors, and vendors
