Extended Warranty Analyst

Responsible for performing extended warranty analyses and claim review on a daily basis. Maintain claim backlog within 30 days and execute assigned projects pertaining to extended warranty business.
* Review extended warranty claims in the backlog.
* Perform studies of claim patterns by equipment type, EW type, office, etc.
* Mine data from paid extended warranty claims in support of price reviews and warranty performance studies.
* Review claims automatically paid for applicability.
* Serve as backup for warranty administrators.
* Advocate system productivity enhancements for Extended Warranties.
* Extended warranty price review support.
* Assist with the Reserve Release Rate Calculation (RRC).
* Sample R?newal product service agreements.
* Special projects as assigned by manager.
BS degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of related experience in collecting and analyzing data preferred. Demonstrated understanding of the technical aspects of Trane air conditioning equipment preferred. PC proficiency required (Excel, Access, Word, Actuate, etc). Knowledge of aspects of claim process and claim system desired. Six Sigma Greenbelt certification or willingness to pursue desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently required.
