Field Marketing Representative

Field Marketing Representative

Field Marketing Representatives comprise the core of CCS? field force. This particular position will be on one of the dedicated consumer electronics teams. This position?s main responsibilities are to increase sales and brand awareness of the client?s products at retail level within an assigned territory.



This position reports directly to the Regional Manager.

 



Job Responsibilities:

 

? Maintain consistent and highly visible presence in designated stores within territory:

o Travel within an assigned territory to visit retail stores assigned to that territory (approximately 80 to 100 stores).

o Build relationships with store personnel

o Make contact with as many people within the store as possible

o Distribute sales/marketing literature and collateral

o Maintain a consistent store visit schedule

 

? Merchandise Product:

o Ensure that CCS? client?s products look the best on the shelf

o Product is properly positioned, priced and all signage and POP is compliant.

o All displays are clean, have a proper appearance, and are compliant with display criteria

 

? Train Retail Sales Associates:

o Deliver training presentations to Retail Salespersons (RSP)

o Increase brand awareness

o Build brand image

o Increase market share / mind share

 

? Proactively learn and participate in trainings on CCS client's products:

o Participate in all training vehicles sponsored by CCS to learn and stay currently certified on CCS client's products. In addition, it is encouraged to proactively learn about competitive products, market trends, and pertinent technologies.

 

? Gather feedback on CCS client's products and services:

o Collect and report information on competitive products and service offerings for CCS clients. Identify growth opportunities for CCS client's sales & marketing. Identify and report on competitive strengths and weaknesses.



Job Requirements:

 

o Exceptional relationship building and communication skills

o Strong presentation abilities with experience in delivering training presentations

o Thorough understanding of consumer electronics, personal computer systems and computer related products and operations

o Thorough understanding of retail distribution, merchandising, sales, and marketing

o Excellent writing and verbal skills

o Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

o Strong time management skills

o Ability to travel up to 25% outside of territory

o Ability to work weekends

o Must have Internet and email access and a working PC

o Must have own insured vehicle in good working condition to travel within territory

o Access to high speed internet service required

o Experience as manufacturer Field Representative preferred
