Fieldwork Business Development Manager (Market Research)

The Fieldwork Business Development Manager will be responsible for the management of key client accounts, develop relationships with clients in order to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing:
? To promote Fieldwork International services to existing clients and to new prospective clients accounts
? To provide quotations and advice/consultancy to clients to deliver the best possible product to clients
? To assist in developing new marketing and sales strategy, and to deliver these messages to clients internationally
? To represent the company at client meetings and conferences as appropriate
? To increase sales from existing clients based on targets agreed on a quarterly basis
? To develop new/lapsed client accounts

Project Management:
? To oversee the handling of, and to stay informed of all key tasks, communication and deadlines for all projects running for their key client accounts
? To work closely with project management teams to ensure successful execution and completion of projects
? To develop, implement and improve standardized workflow processes between client and company
? To lead kick-off meetings between client and account/project management team

Financial:
? To maintain a steady profit margin when quoting, and work with Business Unit Heads to ensure rate cards are kept competitive and up to date with client needs
? To carry out administrative duties including updating CRM database and reporting on all client activity

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Strong business development and client service skills with a proven track record in managing clients and winning businesses
? Strong financial management skills
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
? Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and nurture client relationships
? Ability to exercise professional judgement and assume responsibility for decisions which impact quality of service
? Excellent organizational and project management skills


Education and Experience:
? Graduate degree preferred with minimum of 3 years industry experience or Bachelor?s degree with minimum of 4 years industry experience
? Functional competence and knowledge of the market research fieldwork and pharmaceutical/healthcare industries.
