HANDS-ON MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE

 

This is not generic marketing  or managing others. You must be fully experienced in working with the media including publicity, financial analyst relations, news, conferences, interviews, speeches etc. The role is GLOBAL and HIGHLY VISIBLE. You will be working with the CEO on a DAILY basis.

 Corporate Communications Manager

 

Experienced, creative "Financial Services Industry" communications/public relations professional needed to develop, implement and manage a global corporate communications program.This highly visible position is the primary driver behind the company?s media, analyst and customer communications activities. This individual would report to the Director of Marketing & Communications, and work closely with the company?s senior leadership, particularly the CEO.

 

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

? Develop and implement proactive communications plan aligned with corporate business goals and objectives

? Manage relationships with local, national and international media, including a proactive program of media pitching

? Conduct daily communication with both financial and industry analysts who cover the institutional trading industry

? Develop and coach company spokespersons for media stories; serve as spokesperson as appropriate

? Work directly with the sales team to develop and execute all marketing-communications activities with the company?s customer and prospect base

? Manage internal communications with our global employee base

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 Minimum seven years experience in a corporate communications department or public relations agency Successful track record in corporate communications with a high level of expertise in the financial services industry.Proven track record of obtaining positive media/analyst coverage, locally, nationally and globallyExceptional communications skills; ability to write creatively with high degree of precision and accuracy, both verbal and written Highly-organized and able to manage multiple projects and often competing deadlinesAbility to work with a team in a fast-paced, changing environmentSense of humor
