Funds RFP Writer- Global Cash

The writer in this role will be primarily responsible for completing RFPs for the Global Cash channel.  RFPs are compelling sales documents that describe the firm and its investment services.  The proposals are vital to winning new business across all channels of distribution.

 

This role requires maintaining frequent contact with both product teams and the Global Cash channel in order to stay up-to-date on the firm’s product offerings and sales efforts.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 

?  Responding to RFPs for the Global Cash channel which requires advanced knowledge of fixed income investments

?  Analyzing RFP requirements in order to write, answer, organize and edit proposal content

?  Working with sales and product teams to determine clients’ needs and to develop timely and appropriate solutions

?  Researching product specific information and applying research to update RFP responses

?  Updating and maintaining content within the RFP database



Position Requirements:

 

?  Understanding of equity, fixed income and specialty products and the ability to communicate that knowledge to clients, consultants, team members, portfolio managers, and others as needed

?  Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced team environment

?  Ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects

?  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

?  Bachelor’s Degree — business background preferred

 

 Essential Skills:

 

?  Working knowledge of RFP Express and RFP Machine preferred

?  Knowledge of or aptitude to learn internal database systems

?  Superb process and project management skills

?  Analytical mindset and extreme diligence and accuracy

?  Ability to excel in a multi-faceted team environment

?  Ability to work accurately under time pressure
