GM/DGM Sales

Responsibility:   · Responsible for winning contracts as per the defined targets, in the specified domain and business verticals at stipulated level of profitability. Each individual account/contract would have the potential of growing multifold in revenue and size.

?  Establish network of relationships across various levels and functions in the organization (map the account) to be able to get all relevant decision makers and influencers to agree to sign the contract

 

?  Understand the business opportunity and the nature of the client's need to be able work out a win-win solution with the help of India based BD & Solutioning Team

 

?  Work with India based BD Team and Extended Sales Team (consisting of all service delivery and support functions) for due diligence/sales visits

 

?  With the help of TPM and Solutioning Team to do base-lining and gap analysis to be able to craft and implement the solution successfully

 

?  Working out bids, prices, terms and conditions of the contract with the help of Finance, Solutioning, Legal, TPM, Operations, etc. and negotiating favourable price and other terms of contract along with the help and participation from other process participants

 

?  Setting and managing client expectations; keeping a tab on the relationship from the point of view of strengthening it and using for references, further business. etc.

 

Required Skills :

 

 

?  Extensive knowledge & exposure of services Space and BPO/ITES/BTO industry with good understanding of US market

 

?  Extensive knowledge / domian expertise as well as deep understanding of  drivers of success in the relevant industry vertical

 

?  Ability to craft and sell solutions on the basis of uncovered business needs

 

?  Ability to open doors, build deep relationships/engagement across levels and functions

 

?  Excellent ability to see trends and patterns, smell opportunity based on understanding of the dynamics of a business

 

?  Must have hunger for winning business; very strong achievement motivation coupled with strong negotiation skills

 

?  Experience of having worked in cross-cultural, cross-border, setting and should enjoy working with colleagues in such diverse setting

 

 

Preferred Skills :

 

?  Ability to work comfortably in a new territory and map new organizations to open new accounts subsequently.

?  Should have a strong entrepreneurial zeal and ability to work comfortably  in a resource crunched environment

?  Experience of a start-up organization would be preferred

?  Should be willing to work in a stretch environment involving extensive travel and also different time zones and working with different stake holders

?  Should be a self ?starter, self-sustainer (should not need micro mgmt)

?  Should possess high degree of professionalism and work ethics.
