Vertical Operations Specialist, Consumer Packaged Goods - New York

This position is based in New York, NY.

The Vertical Operations Specialist's primary responsibility is to develop and execute operational strategies and consistent practices to optimize revenue in a specific vertical on a national scale.

Responsibilities:Identify and disseminate best practices and consistent techniques to all vertical teams in the field.
Identify areas of potential revenue optimization in your vertical, including client product and service launches, seasonality fluctuations, promotional calendars and Google product launches and feature enhancements.
Maintain internal communication to all vertical field staff.
Train field professionals in new methods and product techniques, in conjunction with central training resources.
Attend client meetings as needed.
Travel up to 50%.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree required, preferably from a top-tier school. Exceptional academic experience required. MBA preferred.
8+ years experience.
5+ years account management and/or search advertising experience.
Strong familiarity with Fortune 1000 advertisers in a specific vertical.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills in the areas of contractual, technical and financial issues.
Ability to work independently to resolve issues effectively.
Experience with ad-serving systems and/or major analytical applications.
