Position Description:

Seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Senior Graphic Designer with a diverse portfolio of work to join our Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for managing a wide variety of projects from concept through completion in support of the corporate and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional creative concepting and production skills, as well as copywriting abilities.

 

Responsibilities:
Production of graphics and camera ready artwork needed to complete marketing materials including presentations, application diagrams, promotional materials, direct mail pieces, tradeshow booth graphics, films, packaging, print and web-based advertising.

Translates visual requirements into strong design elements in print and digital (web) format through an iterative design process including conceptualization, creation of sample layouts; edits and incorporation of feedback.
Translates approved designs into production ready components and formats for print or web applications.

Generate and manipulate the graphic images, sound, text and video into seamless multimedia programs.

Technical implementation of Web site and Web application interface design projects.
Digital photography and editing. 

Coordination with other operating departments and outside vendors to ensure timely production and delivery of marketing projects.

Handles designated projects from start to completion.

Participation in vendor relationships including sourcing, pricing, etc.

Other various Marketing/Communications related tasks.


Required Skills:

Three to five years previous experience in a corporate marketing environment.

Must have great people skills.  CREATIVE and FUN! Strong writing/communication skills.  Experienced in design principles and designing for the web. Proficient in PC environment using required software.  Working knowledge of the printing process.  Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in our company.

 

Required S/W Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Microsoft Office, Macromedia Flash, HTML coding or WYSIWYG application (like Macromedia Dreamweaver), JavaScript.
