Graphics Production Associate

 An exciting opportunity exists for a hands-on professional as a Graphics Production Associate.

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position is accountable for producing cost-effective, high-quality graphics and layouts for association marketing collateral.  This position works closely with internal customers and external vendors to meet deadlines and manage projects from implementation through to the final proof stages and completion at the printer. 

 

The successful candidate will have:

-  Proficiency with Macintosh systems (OSX preferred), Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, electronic data transfer media and MS Office Suite.

-  Ability to handle editorial page production and meet deadlines for revenue-driven monthly newsletter.

-  Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects with strong follow through skills, ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.

-  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

-  A commitment to customer service.

-  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

The successful candidate will be:

-  Working consistently to produce high quality publication graphics and layouts used in marketing collateral and publications.

-  Ensuring the effective implementation and evaluation of key processes that support department and organizational goals and objectives.

-  Effectively coordinating specific marketing department programs and resources.

 

Education and/or Experience:

-  Minimum of 2 years graphics experience in print and on-line publishing.

-  Prior experience working as part of a collaborative team.

-  Previous experience working in a marketing department or knowledge of marketing principles preferred.
