Presently we are seeking candidates for a Hardware Proposal Specialist.  This position manages the RFP proposal response process for all hardware RFP?s in government and corporate accounts.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Lead project teams in preparing written responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from Government and Corporate customers.

 

2. Work with Sales to prepare responses to large comprehensive Requests for Proposals.

 

3. Serve as a resource to Sales and other departments in understanding newly awarded contracts.

 

4. Prepare written responses articulating ASAP capabilities. Responses must specifically address the needs of the customer.

 

5. Delegate tasks among team, account managers, sales managers, systems engineers, field reps, vendors and service partners, etc., to direct proposal project and manage to the deadline.

 

6. Read through RFP?s, understanding liabilities, terms and conditions. Seek out and understand factors affecting pricing offers, make recommendations to Sales.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

  Works in office environment with regular use of a computer, monitor and keyboard.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1. Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and leadership skills.

2. Sales and product knowledge desirable.

3. Prior experience with RFP?s in the government sector desirable.

4. Bachelor?s degree required.

5. Must work proactively and manage multiple projects.
