Houston - Marketing Coordinator

We are a fast-growing health care company with Medicare Advantage health plans in multiple states.  We have plans to grow through acquisitions and new startup operations in additional markets over the next few years.  This growth and added complexity of our operation is requiring a significant investment in human resources as well and as a result we have a new opening for a Marketing Coordinator.

 

PURPOSE OF JOB:

 

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager in executing all advertising and marketing activities as directed by the Executive Vice President-Marketing to support product sales for Heritage Division Medicare Advantage markets.  This position assists in ensuring that all advertising and marketing initiatives are developed and executed in an accurate, timely manner, and in compliance with CMS marketing regulations.

 

JOB COMPONENTS:

 

1.  Support the development of each local MA plan?s marketing program and budget.

2.  Help manage and track all marketing costs consistent with budgetary goals.

3.  Coordinate the development and editing of all copy for marketing pieces based on CMS approved marketing materials.

4.  Help manage the creation and production of sales, marketing and/or product information pieces with vendors.

5.  Coordinate all aspects of direct mail and print advertising, including coordination of vendors and status confirmation of mail-outs and/or print ads.

6.  Create marketing pieces to support individual MA market needs to support broker activities.

7.  Assist with marketing research data based on targeted marketing plan.

8.  Help manage inventory system to ensure adequate marketing material/supplies to support sales team.

9.  Assist in managing day to day relationships with clients and vendors.

10. All other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

11. Occasional travel may be required.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

1.  Minimum three (3) years marketing experience.

2.  Four year college degree in business administration or marketing.

3.  Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to take general direction/concept and manage complex projects within deadlines.

4.  Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
