Public Relations Intern
Studley has an immediate opening for a public relations intern in its Manhattan headquarters. The intern would report directly to the firm?s director of public relations. This is a paid internship.

Duties and responsibilities would include:
? Drafting and editing press releases, media alerts, bios and case studies
? Tracking media opportunities
? Monitoring media
? Creating and distributing clip packets
? Updating Studley press center and databases
? Participating in monthly PR conference calls
? Communicating with local PR firm and local and national media
? Interacting with Studley?s internal PR managers and outside agencies
? Assisting with any industry-related and/or community events
? Completing general administrative tasks

A qualified candidate will be a student majoring in public relations, journalism or communications and possess the following:
? Public relations experience or abilities
? Excellent communications skills
? Basic computer skills
? Willingness to take initiative
? Motivation to seek new learning opportunities
