Position Objective :

The Performance Parts Marketing Manager's primary responsibility is to collaborate with the sales channels leaders in the development of strategic marketing plans and manage the execution of those plans to drive Performance Parts sales through the Air Centers, Private Distributors, and the Direct Sales Teams. This position will collaborate in the creative aspects of developing marketing programs and marketing materials. Marketing Manager will also provide market input from the sales channels to IR Performance Parts. This position is a critical link to keep internal and external customers informed of IR Performance Parts products, programs and promotions.



Principle Responsibilities :

* Collaborate in the development of strategic marketing plans and manage the execution of those plans.

* Identify and develop sales promotions, incentive programs, marketing and business plans, work with product management in development and introduction of new products, services and marketing tools.

* Assist General Manager in administering various marketing research and customer service feedback tools to identify market opportunities to increase Performance Parts revenue.

* Provide timely input to the Performance Parts Management staff on status and use of special promotions and programs.

* Prepare, travel and give presentations that will enhance the parts, service and sales to all respectives sales channels.



Problem Solving :

Must be able to stimulate 30% growth.

Must be able to work with sales channels and survey distributors to uncover potential issues.

Formulate a project plan to address the issues and work with the sales channel leadership to implement.



Formal Education Requirement:

A minimum of a four-year Bachelor degree in marketing and/or engineering from an accredited college or university, or substitue an additional five years of work experience in a marketing and/or compressor field. Prior experience in the air compressor industry will be beneficial.

Other Requirements:

Travel requirements for Marketing Manager is 50% but highly variable depending upon business needs.

Position should be capable of identifying information that should be kept internally within the division

Internal and external contacts will be frequent and Marketing Manager should be able to have good communication skills and interact in a positive way.

Individual must be extremely results-oriented capable of driving profitabiltiy and capable of formulating and implementing strategic business decisions.
