Our team members work directly with clients, so sharp, professional presentation skills are essential.  Moreover, our IA's must understand how good website usability fits into our client's larger business of ROI and definitive, measurable results, so a clear, strategic business sense is must.

 

We are seeking sharp, smart, and autonomous information architects with a proven resume & skill set for immediate employment.  We are looking for candidates not just a pair of quick hands but someone who can solves problems and suggest new, creative solutions on their own.

 

 

Responsibilities:

- Conduct end user needs assessment and task analysis.

Gather and maintain business requirements

- Drive the optimum implementation of functionality

- Conduct task analyses to define user needs

- Develop high-level information flows and navigation systems

- Develop detailed page schematics

- Work with technology and operations teams to determine technology needs for given initiatives

- Work with visual designers to ensure the look and feel of given initiatives meets intended user interaction

 

Requirements:

- More than 3 years of Web-application information architecture experience

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing and by graphic design with staff and clients, individually and in groups

- Working knowledge of various Web-related technologies (e.g., HTML, XML, JavaScript)

- Proficient in Visio

- Deadline- and detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking skills

- Ability to thrive under pressure and to adapt to conflict situations
