Deloitte Tax LLP has an opening for an Internal Communications Manager who will have both strategic and tactical responsibilities.? The key performance objective of this position is his/her ability to manage and coordinate a number of internal communications projects within stringent timelines.? These projects include diverse teams made up of internal staff, freelancers and outside vendors.?

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work directly with Deloitte Tax Communications Leader and Deloitte Tax Leadership
- Responsible primarily for supporting Deloitte Tax Service Line internal communications to:
- Ensure Tax professionals understand service line priorities, goals, strategic initiatives, etc.
- Enhance Deloitte Tax Service message coordination, clarity, consistency, and context
- Coach others within Deloitte Tax on internal communications best practices

- Senior professional with a minimum of 7 years relevant
communications experience
- Strong knowledge of and experience in corporate internal communications strategic, practices, and execution
- Strong knowledge and experience in online publishing and meeting deadlines
- Extensive experience working with senior leadership
- Tax and/or professional services industry experience preferred
- Degree in Communications, English, or Business with expertise in communications practices
- Requires minimal supervision, strong independent thinker and worker
- Works well in team environments
- Superlative organizational skills and writing and editing skills
- Works well under pressure and can effectively and professionally handle tough issues
- Expertise in measuring the effectiveness of different internal communications strategies and approaches
- Strong working knowledge in communications software needed to perform the function: all aspects of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, etc) and ancillary tools, as well as Web-based
communication tools, etc.
