Internet Project Services Manager (Market Research)

Position Summary:
Responsibility and accountability for the execution of one of Synovate?s global online data collection team to drive the growth of the business through increasing productivity and establishing best practices in all aspects of the online data collection services provided. This position will report to Vice President of Online Data Collection.

Responsibilities:
? Managing an online data collection team of about 8-12 staff members
? Provide an appropriate and sensitive level of client service to internal marketing groups in support of their online project execution needs
? Support of staff through continuous training and mentoring regime
? Coaching and motivating the team to produce outstanding results and achievements
? Setting goals that drive the business through continual improvements in quality, accuracy, speed of delivery and standardization
? Helping ensure that global ViewsNet capabilities are understood by the relevant Synovate Client Service organization
? Ensuring procedural efficiency and work on continuous improvements
? Establishing and developing strong working relationships with the central ViewsNet team in Chicago and the teams in other regions
? Organizing and arranging overtime work as required
? Chicago-based position but some domestic and overseas travel may be required to fulfill this role



Requirements:
B.A or B.S Degree
? Minimum 3+ years operations experience within market research
? Minimum 1+ year management experience within market research
? Knowledge of online data collection methods and processes, ideally from both a technical and also research perspectives
? An ability to understand the execution process of multi-country projects (language and geographical skills would be desirable but the latter will be taught on the job)
? An effective communicator, influencer and presenter, both in writing and verbally
? Good client service skills
? Good problem solving skills: able to challenge, question, and think outside of the box when necessary (with the relevant maturity to know when it is necessary)
? Sound basic financial and general management skills
? Presence and intellect to obtain the trust of senior colleagues, management and direct reports
? Ability to deliver discernable results with confidence
? Proven people management and motivational leadership skills
? Ability to manage external resources such as outsourced partners
? Understanding of relevant technical procedures and process management
? Ability and interest in working within in global and multi-cultural environments
? Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal client service teams, under pressure
