About the Opportunity

 

We are expanding our sales staff to meet the needs of the fastest area of growth in marketing and advertising.  We seek a Junior Account Executive to work within our Online Marketing business unit to sell advertising solutions to companies ranging in size from Fortune 50 to new start ups.  If you are interested in long-range career growth and have the strategic ability to plan for your professional future, Virtumundo, Inc. offers a unique environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance.

 

Help contribute to Virtumundo's success in your role as a Junior Account Executive by identifying business opportunities, selling advertising via multiple channels, maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to a team effort.

 

Qualifications



A bachelors degree



In this entry level position we seek candidates who typically have between one and two years professional sales experience



Experience selling any type of advertising channel is extremely positive



Must possess a strong self confidence and have no fear of closing deals by phone, instant messaging and email



Demonstrated an ability to hit goals and grow your sales funnel to achieve increasing levels of performance



Beginning experience negotiating proposals and contracts



Drive to push personal earnings as high as they can go



A resume which shows a willingness to learn, adapt and thrive



Self starters with a track record of independent achievement



Strong communication and presentation skills,



Excellent listening skills and an ability to ask questions at the right time to clarify client needs and find answers



Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical



Exceptional work ethic, a user of time productively, maximizing efficiency, and meeting challenging work goals



Keeps knowledge and skills current through continued education, reading industry journals, and participating in professional organizations

Compensation

 

Our average account executives earn $80,000 per year, with our top sales people earning six figures.  Starting Junior Account Executives earn a base compensation of $25,000 plus commissions in addition to the base.  The compensation is broken down between base, commissions and bonus opportunities.  Earning potential is limited only by your ability to drive business and close deals.
