Junior Events Specialist
San Jose, CA


We have an excellent opportunity in our San Jose, CA headquarters for an experienced professional to assist the Event Managers with day-to-day activities associated with all events/tradeshows, and work with cross-functional teams.


Specifically, you will:
Provide administrative and communications support to the events team
Complete all related event/tradeshow paperwork, including check requests, purchase orders, shipping information, hotel coordination, rooming lists, travel coordination, equipment needs, on-site set-up, and creative briefs
Reconcile budget (track, process, and report invoices against various budgets)
Help the Event Managers determine and meet event/tradeshow staffing and equipment needs and manage the staffing process
Research venues/sites for events, determine event/tradeshow marketing collateral needs and promotional items, and oversee the preparation and delivery of materials to event site
Coordinate the post-show lead retrieval follow-up process, surveys, and evaluations
Maintain and update event/tradeshow calendar of events


This position requires:
An AA degree or equivalent experience
At least 1 year of experience supporting corporate events or tradeshows, including on-site experience
Budget management and reconciliation experience for events/tradeshows
Strong organizational and project management skills
Travel required
