Junior Graphic Designer

Summary:   Esurance seeks a junior graphic designer with proven design skills whose motivation and energy makes him/her ready for a variety of design projects. This individual will work under the direction of the Graphic Designer in the creation of designs for online media placements, email marketing campaigns, the Esurance Web site, consumer print, and PR/corporate collateral.

With a variety of design work, the junior graphic designer supports Esurance?s acquisition and retention initiatives, while also helping our rapidly growing company build its brand through design excellence and visual consistency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Create innovative online and offline collateral consistent with brand and creative standards (projects more heavily online-focused, though some print work also required).

? Conceptualize, design, and produce visually appealing, marketing-focused Web site interfaces. Work cross-functionally, particularly with Product Marketing, on site concepts and page layouts.

? Ensure that all design projects support business goals by drawing on understanding of branding, user experience, creative performance metrics, etc.

?  Work on multiple projects concurrently, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest quality.

 

Qualifications:

 

? BFA in Graphic Design

? 2 years professional graphic/Web design experience required  

? Portfolio required; portfolio should demonstrate experience with a variety of media and knowledge of basic design principles: layout, color theory, etc.

? Ability with design tools including, but not limited to the following: Adobe suite of products, Dreamweaver, Flash, Indesign and/or Quark Xpress

? Some experience with user interface design preferred

? Strong ability to prioritize and work independently. Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously with fast turnaround

? Positive, supportive team player who thrives in a highly collaborative design environment
