Junior Graphic Designer/Copywriter

We are looking for qualified Junior Graphic Designer/Copywriter to join Fieldstone Mortgage Company, a dynamic and growing corporation based in Columbia, Maryland. Description:

 

This position will work with team members on typesetting and designing brochures, advertisements, mailings, signage and other print collateral as assigned as well as assist the marketing team with planning and implementation of other initiatives. Candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of marketing and brand standards, design, typography, color, paper, and printing. Preferred candidate will have experience with project estimates and negotiations with print vendors as well as formatting and uploading files. The ideal candidate will also be a strong copywriter that is able to write compelling sales materials.

 

Requirements:

 

The candidate must be professional, a positive team player, an effective communicator, demonstrate strong commitment, deadline oriented, highly responsive, able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment, accept feedback, deliver exceptional customer service and be flexible with schedule when deadlines must be met.

 

Candidate must be proficient in publishing software including:

 Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and be comfortable working on a PC. A bachelor?s degree is preferred and 2-3 years of experience. Mortgage banking experience a plus! Please include a design portfolio and salary requirements.
