Licensing Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities

 

The Licensing Sales Coordinator will report to one or more Licensing Managers.  They will be responsible for assisting with account management of various licensees in multiple categories. This position will play an integral role in supporting the sales force to attain annual and quarterly sales goals and to integrate strategic sales objectives within the firm.

 

Primary responsibilities include assistance in targeting and evaluating potential licensees for client sales opportunities, performing client specific research to facilitate dialogue leading to new revenue opportunities, conducting research on potential new clients, assistance in drafting new contracts and amending existing contracts nearing expiration, assistance negotiating terms, territories, marks, products and distribution of new contracts and contract amendments.

 

Additionally, the Licensing Sales Coordinator will be responsible for acquiring, maintaining and tracking data on trademarks, distribution channels and territories held by all licensees.  Responsible for servicing needs of existing licensees through extensive phone calls, emails and administrative support; scheduling, planning and preparing for meetings with licensees; following up with licensees through phone calls and networking at various trade shows, gathering and tracking of information on products produced by each licensee and at which retailers these products are being sold.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

?  Bachelors Degree

?  Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

?  Must possess attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a high pressure, heavy workload environment.

?  Highly motivated individual with an interest in sales and licensing support.

?  Must possess demonstrated abilities in setting priorities, initiating action and finalizing correspondence and tasks.

?  Must be resourceful with the ability to solve problems and recommend solutions.

?  Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational, time management and planning skills.  Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
