MANAGER MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Reston, VA Government Contractor has a newly created career opportunity for a Manager Marketing & Communications.  The Manager Marketing &Communications will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the Company?s marketing communications strategies. The individual will be responsible for creating the marketing collateral necessary to drive and support the development, recruitment and other related company objectives.  The individual will also be responsible for conducting and managing marketing research inquiries necessary to develop brand identity, website marketing material content.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 Responsible for developing and executing integrated direct marketing campaigns; plan and coordinate the prioritization and execution of all marketing communications activities.

 Design, create and coordinate email campaigns, newsletters, system notifications and other miscellaneous communications targeting prospective and current clients.

 Develop and standardize external marketing communications and materials.

 Responsible for supporting the Company?s business, proposal and recruitment teams with design, web site utilization and events strategy.

 Responsible for writing press releases and articles for major media sources, website and internet marketing events.

 Manage and track client response to various marketing campaigns and methods; develop metrics for gauging effectiveness of such campaigns and .

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 BA preferably in Marketing or Business Administration, MBA preferred 5+  years professional marketing experience preferably in the Defense & Intelligence Services industry or Defense & Intelligence community.Excellent Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required; demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills necessaryAbility to synthesize complex ideas and make same simple to understandAbility to negotiate effectively, creative problem solving skillsSuperior project management skillsExcellent computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Adobe, Photoshop, Pagemaker
