MARCOM MANAGER

We are seeking a person capable of the full breadth of MarCom skills, including media relations, internet presence, collateral development, trade event planning and execution, newsletters, sales-support tools, and presentations. We want a person who can move get things done quickly and turn a concept into reality in response to emerging market opportunities.


Proficiency with Adobe DTP and Microsoft Office products are essential. A background in MarCom, both by training and work experience, is also essential. Broader knowledge of the strategic and tactical aspects of Marketing is a big plus.

Past experience in the medical products, especially devices, and more specifically Orthopedics, is very desirable. Clinical study-related experience, such as derivative white paper development or assisting (ghost-writing) journal submissions is another plus.

Education: a Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing. Alternatively, a BA in English, technical writing, graphic arts, and other relevant fields will certainly be considered.

Experience: 5 years in MarCom, preferably with a FDA-regulated company or external service provider. Recent responsibility for all aspects of communications development, in a similar working environment (preferably a small, early-stage medtech company).
