Reports to Director of Services
As Research Analyst II, you will work on research services, assisting industry analysts in covering technology and market trends through primary and secondary research. This includes research on equipment manufacturer, service provider, and end-user plans and requirements for various technologies, including VoIP, broadband, IPTV, network security, mobile networks, metro Ethernet, and optical networks. Duties include:
? End-user and service provider survey research services: questionnaire design, data gathering, data analysis, charts, study writing, and data checking
? Market size, share, and forecast reports on emerging and mature product segments: setting up and formatting files, creating charts, preparing services for delivery, and supporting on market analysis
? Service provider capex analysis service: tracking service provider metrics and researching public documentsQUALIFICATIONS
This full-time, permanent position requires 1?2 years? industry experience, a BA/BS (preferably in market research, economics, sociology, or statistics), and:
? Solid analytic, logic, and quantitative skills
? Polished written and oral communication
? 2 or more years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel
? Experience in questionnaire design and survey research methodology
? Market analysis and forecasting experience is a plus
? Understanding of data networking/telecom technologies, vendors, products, services, and market trends is a plus
? SPSS or SAS experience is a plusBENEFITS
