Position Summary
? Maintain in-house master mailing/contact databases
? Keep conference publication directories including journals and websites updated with Imedex events
? Schedule and manage paid advertising within the defined conference budgets and corporate marketing strategy to ensure maximum exposure and effectiveness
? Manage cooperative marketing efforts with other conference organizers, societies, etc. (i.e.? swaps?)
? Liaise with Corporate Marketing to develop and deliver exhibits and on-site materials at Imedex and other events. Act as company representative at trade shows internationally as needed.
? Develop and execute marketing campaigns for enduring materials such as webcasts and newsletters, satellite symposia and other projects as assigned. Campaigns may include email, fax, direct mail, telemarketing, or other as required.
? Research and create specific marketing resources for individual project marketing use such as local physician lists, institution contacts, residency directors, etc.
? Assist in the organization, scheduling and fulfillment of promotional mailings - primarily in-house and local mailings (up to 300 pieces) which may/may not include creating personalized letters and special offers to supporters, faculty and/or clients
? Administrative duties for marketing department including faxing, copying, letters, emails
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1.Responsible for handling field sales associate inquiries regarding marketing information, billing issues and general procedural direction concerning products and services.
2.Fulfills requests for marketing materials; assembles and mails brochures and product information to customers and sales associates.
3.May interact with customers for the purpose of handling specific questions and requests.
4.Responsible for demonstrating products for customers at trade show, conferences and industry events.
5.Gathers market research data; includes making calls to customers, gathering secondary research data, communications with sales associates and distributing market research questionnaires at trade shows, conventions and industry events.
6.Assists and/or performs collateral production; includes producing brochures and sales tools, media checks, proof reading and relaying general direction on concept design.
7.Provides program/product support by assisting manager in researching and resolving issues, distributing paperwork, routing incoming calls, and creating marketing pieces and campaigns.
8.Coordinates and supports trade show activities including assembling materials to be shipped to the exhibits, scheduling presentations and events, and assisting trade show coordinator with other planning tasks.
9.Generates market research reports and analyzes data.
10.Responsible for tracking and maintaining marketing materials index by logging titles and descriptions into database or spreadsheet; monitors inventory levels and alerts manager if additional marketing materials need to be produced.
11.Performs related duties as assigned.
Educational Details
Bachelor?s Degree. Business, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications major a plus.
?A minimum of 2 years of work exp. in an office setting, preferably in a marketing or marketing support function
?Direct to consumer or business to business marketing experience preferred but not required
