JOB TITLE

Media Supervisor

 

SUMMARY

Work closely with the Media Director in generating media strategies and executing targeted plans.  The MS must provide direction for negotiating media buys.  In addition, the MS must be involved in the day-to-day activities on the assigned accounts and is responsible for the fiscal management of the client?s budgets. In particular, the MS will develop and execute regional media strategies for all FMC brands, serve as the radio industry analyst and prepare competitive analyses for FMC brands, nationally (TV and consumer magazines) and locally (top 20 AA markets; TV).

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTranslate marketing strategy and goals to meet media deliverables. Interact directly with Account Services Group to understand, analyze and synthesize relevant client information. Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of specific accounts to which he/she is assigned. Develop media plans and schedules for assigned clients. Provide direction to the media buying group to ensure that guidelines and goals are met. Follow trends as necessary, investigate new media services and generate POVs as necessary. Collaborate with Media Director in providing media strategy, objectives and goals to generate and build revenues for individual accounts and new business efforts Responsible for fiscal stewardship of media budgets

 

QUALIFICATIONSBS/BA degree Experience of 5-7 years in media planning/buying Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Must have first-hand knowledge of all media tools and research
