MANAGER, DISTRIBUTOR SALES

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This position supports the Nellcor and Puritan Bennett Businesseses by managing sales, marketing and operational relationships with the top National Distributors, Custom Tray Manufacturers, and Specialty Respiratory Distributors. This position will be responsible for managing distributor incentive programs; negotiating national and specialty contracts; and driving operational efficiencies with distributors. The position requires interaction and coordination with upper and middle level managers within Respiratory Marketing and Shared Services. The individual in this position will be a liason leading key partnership programs with acute care distributors, and will be responsible for maintaining relationships in upper and middle management with these distributors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist Nellcor and Puritan Bennett upper management in establishing the strategic supply chain strategy.
2. Negotiate and manage sales and marketing contracts with assigned respiratory distributors, custom tray manufacturers, and specialty distributors.
3. Assist Sales and Marketing Management with the development and and implementation of distributor marketing campaigns supporting sales and marketing programs with distributors.
4. Work with Shared Services to to drive operational improvements within the distribution supply chain.
5. Represent Distributor Sales in Shared Service Initiatives
6. Manage continuous quality improvement initiatives and cross functional team efforts on an ongoing basis with the largest national distributors.
7. Facilitate and lead Nellcor and Puritan Bennett Distributor sales training initiatives
8. Oversee appropriate administration and tracking of distributor sales, marketing, and operational agreements including program metrics, financial accruals for incentives, and reporting of results.
9. Represent Nellcor and Puritan Bennett at high profile conventions, trade shows and distributor meetings.



Requirements:

Master's Degree Preferred; Bachelor's Degree Required
Minimum of seven years in field sales; some sales management and major account experience preferred; supply chain management experience preferred
Strong and demonstrable communication and organizational skills.
