Manager, Client Communications North America

This role will report directly to Director, Global Client Communications. Person will be responsible for managing global and regional client communications projects and be responsible for creating a strategy for direct to client communications in the North American market. Also responsible for partnering with Director to devise a communications strategy for internal client managers. Role is executive facing and requires the ability to work effectively with senior leadership across the business. Will have global, regional and local accountability for driving a seamless, aggressive, consistent and measurable program. Position will oversee a team of one responsible for executing the strategy and multiple projects on a global, regional and local level. Will be responsible for leading development of new and improved tools to deliver communications directly to clients, including email and web based platforms. Accountable for ensuring local and regional execution is in-line with global strategy. Together with Director, will build a measurement strategy that measures client communications program using quantitative and qualitative metrics locally and regionally.

Must possess excellent management, writing, verbal and interpersonal skills, and be creative, strategic, forward-thinking, and able to present ideas and concepts to groups of all sizes. Position requires strong writing and communications skills as well as organizational and planning skills and the ability to maintain involvement in many important projects at any given time. Must possess a proactive nature and be able to work autonomously under minimal supervision in a very fast-paced environment. Must be innovative, creative, resourceful, decisive and a self-starter who is comfortable with a high degree of responsibility. Must have experience in developing content and technology to deliver client communications including newsletter and web formats. Must project a professional appearance, be confident, and represent our company in a positive manner to our employees, clients, suppliers and general public. Must represent department in a positive manner when interacting with company and client leaders. Must be able to handle deadline pressure and be willing to work extra hours if needed to meet deadlines. Knowledge of all aspects of communications required. Position may involve some travel. College degree in related field (communications, journalism, marketing, business) and a minimum of 5 years of direct experience, is required
