Manager, Compliance

Job Description:

The Compliance Manager will work with and report to the Vice President Compliance, providing assistance with the oversight and implementation of Bausch & Lomb?s Compliance and Ethics Program. Developing and implementing communication strategies to ensure employees? understanding of the Company?s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and policies and procedures.
Developing education and training programs, working with the business, the Law Department, Corporate Audit and others to effectively impact employees? understanding and compliance.
Assisting with the Company?s Risk Assessment Process which identifies and prioritizes compliance risks and develops and implements solutions to avoid or minimize risks. Reviewing, coordinating and revising the Company?s existing policies and procedures to avoid or minimize compliance risks. Monitoring the Company?s compliance efforts.
Meeting with employees at all levels to build relationships and enhance their abilities to support compliance.

 

Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor?s degree and five years minimum relevant experience in compliance, ethics, human resources, learning and development or similar background. Required skills include:

? Strong and persuasive communication skills, including writing, presentations and one-on-one interactions.
? Ability to work with a high level of initiative, manage a demanding workload and work well under pressure.
? Ability to work independently and as a team member.
? Integrity and good judgment.
? Ability to establish and maintain credibility and trust with employees at all levels.
