Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex, Inc., a leading marketer of small household and commercial appliances, has an immediate opening for Manager, Consumer Insights at our headquarters in Richmond, VA.
The Consumer Marketing Group has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, experienced and talented researcher. Working with the Marketing and Sales groups, this position supports brand-building and innovation initiatives, by leveraging consumer insights.
Responsibilities include design, coordination and execution of consumer research plans to support brand growth and launch of future innovation. The ability to analyze and synthesize learning from research, drawing conclusions that are actionable, impactful and accessible, is essential.
Must have a Bachelor?s degree (Master?s desired) and at least 5-7 years direct market or consumer research experience, particularly in the consumer product or CPG industry. Requires expert knowledge of research methodologies, techniques for primary quantitative and qualitative research and ability to leverage technology, including Internet based applications.
