Manager, Marketing   The manager, marketing manages and directs a major portion of a Client?s business within Modem Media on a semi-autonomous basis. This involves directing the account team and working in tandem with other departments across multi-channel programs. Instinctively ?rolling up one?s sleeves? on Client strategic issues is an essential work characteristic.

 

 

Essential Job Functions

 

Program Development and Execution
Leads team in delivering and executing marketing programs ? direct mail, email, collateral, online, and in branch
Understand fully the client?s business
Provides solutions and ideas for clients unique challenges ? when necessary seeks out information from other Modem Media teams, Senior Leadership, etc.
Partners with client to identify opportunities across their business and makes recommendations where appropriate
Provides direction to team throughout project execution

 

Job Experience
5-8 years of experience developing, implementing and managing complex integrated marketing capabilities across a number of channels and geographies for large (e.g Fortune 100 firms) is an essential requirement for this position
Extensive marketing experience in the telecommunications, financial services and healthcare, or IT industries and has deep understanding of the customers and their challenges
Experience managing direct reports
Experience in a direct marketing agency or direct marketing environment
Has executed multiple direct marketing programs throughout their career

 

Skills
Strong presentation and communication skills
Strong people management skills
Strong analytic and strategic abilities ? understands the principles of direct marketing and has a proven career in this area
Strong leadership skills

 

Education
Bachelors Degree Required. 
Masters Degree Preferred
