Manager, Marketing Communications

 

 

Responsibilities:

? Develop messaging and positioning strategies; support naming, branding, corp ID and marketing plans to drive revenue from key business relationships and initiatives

? Facilitate campaign, program and marketing plan implementation by working with Corporate Marketing counterparts and business owners

? Build awareness of Juniper and its value among employees

? Support the channel?s ability to sell Juniper-enabled solutions directly by tailoring Juniper value propositions to key channels and assisting in creating partner value propositions

?Design and implement programs that motivate

? Work with and manage key external partners to create and implement plans and on-going marketing strategies

? Create and articulate Juniper?s corporate and campaign focused positioning in the market

? Ensure that Juniper?s positioning and messaging is carried through to all key external and internal communications vehicles

? Review and lightly edit for messaging and company materials that will have high exposure

? Develop tools that will be used Globally

? Leverage key content in critical places between the web site, into strategic briefings, into customer newsletters, on the intranet, etc.

 

 

Required Background:

 

? Demonstrated writing and communications skills; demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts

? Excellent management skills

? Excellent written and verbal communications skills

? Excellent facilitation skills

? Ability to work in dynamic, unstructured environment

? Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and participate in a team

? 10+ years communications experience; at least 5 years communications experience with a medium to large publicly traded company or agency

? Demonstrated experience in positioning, branding, creating unique and noticeable marketing programs
