We are hired by major firms to promote their products, artists, and brands. The Los Angeles-based company has a staff of 25 people and has been in business for nearly 8 years. During that time, Fanscape has assisted in the marketing of hundreds of projects including some of the biggest selling bands, top grossing movies, and state-of-the-art technologies.
Position:
The Manager of Online Publicity is responsible for obtaining placement for our clients? media on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier website. This media includes editorial, product/movie/music reviews, interviews, promotions, and digital media such as video clips, music, and flash pieces. The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized self-starter with a pre-existing rolodex of contacts and relationships with 3rd party partner websites.
Overall Role & Responsibilities:
The Manager of Online Publicity and 3rd Party Marketing will report directly to the Vice President of Partnership Marketing and will be responsible for the following: Secure online placement of content at online media websitesContent to include: editorial, product/music/movie reviews and pre-views, interviews, contests/sweepstakes/promotions, viral flash media, music and video clipsIdentify and form relationships with target websitesConstruct pitch letters and other promotional materials for online media Maintain and update database of media contactsParticipate in the development of integrated marketing plans (online promotions, publicity, reviews, tour promotion, etc.).Analyze results of content placementSet quarterly partner goals
Required Skills & Competencies:
? Strong knowledge of Internet media outlets
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Solid understanding of online marketing and reporting terms
? Strong Organization skills
? Ability to pro-actively initiate and then maintain online media relationships
? Passion for youth culture and understanding of current trends and technologies
Educational & Work Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in entertainment online publicityEducation: College graduate
