Position: Manager, Sample Operations

MarketTools Inc. (www.markettools.com), a privately held, profitable, technology and services company is seeking a Manager, Sample Operations on a full-time basis.  As the Manager, Sample Operations you will manage and grow the team responsible for all sample pulls and project execution for the organization.  The position will work directly with the panel / sample, client services, operations, and technology teams to develop and implement new process and systems to streamline project execution.

 

Responsibilities:

? Lead team in delivering high-quality customer service to all clients

? Develop, re-engineer, and implement new processes and systems to streamline all aspects of workflow

? Document processes to ensure consistent practices and training

? Use process and systems to evolve team into a more value-added organization

? Provide hands-on management to lead, motivate, and coach the team

? Develop appropriate metrics to communicate current and future value and efficiencies of the team to management

? Provide front-line perspective and recommendations for technical enhancements of MarketTools? sample system

? Act as voice of the team to ensure processes are followed by all stakeholders in the organization

? Act as point-of-escalation to provide troubleshooting for clients (internal and external) on a timely basisQualifications:

? 5-7 years online sample, operations, or market research experience required

? Strong understanding of sampling and how it pertains to online market research required

? Strong operational perspective required

? Understanding of online panel management and how it impacts sampling

? Experience with small group management required

? Strong verbal and written communication skills required

? Strong evaluative, decision-making skills required

? Confident, driven, self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously

? Creative approach to problem solving required

? Understanding of technological solutions to solve problems and improve outcomes

? Combined strengths in analysis, project management, communication and organization

? Bachelor?s degree in Marketing Research or related field.  MBA a strong plus

? Able to work with MS Office Suite

? SQL, Cognos, or other database experience a plus
