THIS IS AN ONGOING, FULL-TIME CONTRACT JOB, with benefits, and with no fixed end date. In fact, there is a possibility that after several months you will be hired by our client. In the meantime, while you are a contractor, you will go on Aquent's payroll, get our benefits, and be paid weekly.
Responsible for assisting Marketing Manager with sales and marketing communications and projects for internal and external employees, customers, prospects, associations, trade publications, and media. Must be able to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects, advertising, and marketing programs from idea concept to launch. This includes definition of objective, developing strategy, copywriting, managing and creating design, production, list management and procurement, and final approval.

Other Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Marketing Communications writing role in support of marketing, advertising, or public relations programs.
- Customer-focused business-to-business campaign knowledge and experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to translate product features into tangible customer benefits.
- Familiarity with marketing techniques.
- Project management and multi-tasking skills are essential.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- PC Skills: Knowledge of MS Word required; MS PowerPoint and Lotus Notes experience a plus.
- Ability to work overtime if required to meet objectives.
