Job Description/Qualifications:The Global Market Manager provides leadership and strategic direction for the identification, development and launch of a steady stream of growth projects in strategic markets. Develops short and long-range plans and directs resources in the execution of marketing plans to generate profitable growth results. Builds high performing teams by identifying and developing talent, by role modeling behavior, and by mentoring employees within the organization. Advocates and utilizes the business and marketing programs. Guides use of the BME Stage Gate process to ensure disciplined growth decisions.

Previous assignments in at least three (3) of the following areas:SalesBusinessMarketing (e.g., Market Manager, Marketing Communications, Marketing Research, etc.)International assignment or assignment outside of Kingsport (required)Support Group (e.g., Supply Chain, Technology, Corp Strategy, Finance, HR, etc.)Understanding of Marketing fundamentalsMinimum 5 years of Marketing experience Multiple Market / Business experiencesHas established industry network Knowledge of plastic processesIs recognized as an industry and market expertDirect experience in market connectDemonstrated success leading multiple marketing programs through Stage Gate/equivalence processes that delivered their revenue objectivesDemonstrated success in leading teams. Minimum 5 years previous people leadership/development responsibility (direct or indirect)Applied experience in opportunity identification and assessmentApplied strategy development and implementationProven ability to identify unmet customer needsProven ability to effectively communicateProven ability to effectively networkExcellent interpersonal and presentation skillsAbility to interact with the customer in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment

Required Degree/Education:BA in Marketing or Business or BS Technical DegreeMBA a plus but not required
