Position Description:

Provide marketing, business development, and sales management with the primary and secondary research needed for these functions to make their tactical and strategic decisions. Further assist them by identifying business problems, defining these problems and subsequent information needs, and by assisting in the strategic decision making process.

Provide primary and secondary research expertise and project coordination in support of business decisions.
Participate and contribute as an active member of the core brand planning team(s) on assigned products.
Assist product management in setting long-term goals, developing long-term strategies, and how best to position their brands.
Recommend changes and improvements to research process.
Remain current on state of the art market research methodologies and utilize them for the department?s decision-making needs.
Provide a major role in identifying and defining business problems and opportunities.
Commission and supervise research consultants in the execution of market research studies.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics or related field
MA/MS/MBA in related field
3-5 years related experience

Superior analytic/problem solving skills, Quantitative/Statistical orientation, Good verbal and written skills, detail oriented, excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with teams as well as independently, good understanding of business needs, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
