Regency is currently seeking a Market Research Analyst in our Vienna, VA regional office to support our Marketing, Investments and Operations departments with demographic and GIS data on Regency's existing and future markets in order to assist management in making key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Creates high quality maps and reports using GIS software to aide both Investment and Operations officers in making business decisions, including but not limited to researching potential new markets, trade areas and growth opportunities.

Prepares reports that interpret current market conditions and future potentials.

Coordinates the use of market research products with that of collateral material created by graphic artists and merchandising groups.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Research, GIS or related field of study with at least one year of experience in a research, real estate or GIS environment.

Advanced proficiency with GIS software such as MapInfo. Must have an intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus Adobe Acrobat and internet search functionality.

Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry preferred.

Must be highly trustworthy and able to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers both verbally and in writing.

Qualified candidates must be highly motivated and able to work in a multi-task, dynamic, team environment.

Must possess strong quantitative, analytical, and creative thinking skills coupled with problem-solving and time-management skills.
